Text Messaging Service (AccuRx)

Our practice uses a secure text messaging service to communicate with patients when appropriate. This may include appointment reminders, health updates, and links to important information or online services.

Using this system helps us improve communication, reduce waiting times, and ensure you receive timely updates about your care.

Please ensure we have your current mobile number so you do not miss any important messages from the practice.

Teaching Practice

Dr Thompson and Dr Kennedy  are both post-graduate and undergraduate trainers . A General Practitioner Registrar is usually attached to the practice.  The Registrar is a fully qualified doctor, who wishes to specialise in general practice. From time to time we will have a medical student attached to the practice as part of their training. If the student is with the doctor you will always be asked for your permission for him/her to stay during the consultation. Medical students do not carry out any duties within the practice except under the supervision of one of the doctors.

We are grateful for your co-operation in the training of young doctors.

The next Registrar will be  in the surgery from

March 24 - September 24
